Kanchan Bandyopadhyay
Since he was a wee tot, Kanchan has been on stage – be it singing, acting, or behind stage – in everything from school plays to professional shows. As an adult his love of theatre has continued which has seen him become involved in a number of Prayas productions. So in view of his love for treading the boards, to describe himself as a “shy, retiring Bengali” may just be the understatement of the century.
Although theatre may be Kanchan’s first love, there is one thing which trumps it and that is spending time with his wife and children. Combine that with a responsible sounding job title with NZQA and it could be fair to say that Kanchan could teach the wayward Prince a thing or two about responsibility!
