Monica Mahendru
A successful Recruitment Consultant in her professional life, Monica spends much of afterhours pursuing courses in stage and screen acting, attending acting workshops, travelling and ofcourse trying out new food joints in the city.
A dark chocolate junkie and a foodie is how she describes herself. Her tryst with the stage began with a dance performance when she was four years old, a talent which blends well with acting.
Monica moved to New Zealand in May 2007 to experience a new culture, ironically to reflect two years later in her debut Prayas production ‘Khoj’ where she played the role of Aparna, an independent woman who dared to venture into her own world. Since then she has been actively involved in other Prayas productions both on stage and back stage. ‘Prayas is my home away from home and I love being a part of it’.
